Privacy

Short, because there is not much to say.

Sabrfy is made by LMKdev (“we,” “us”). This policy covers sabrfy.com and the Sabrfy apps.

Your location never leaves your device

Prayer times and distances are calculated in your browser. Sabrfy has no server that receives your coordinates, because the calculation does not need one. There is nothing for us to store, sell or lose.

No tracking

The website has no sign-in, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate page counts; it does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you.

The app (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV)

Your location is used on the device only — for prayer times, the Qibla and the nearest places to pray — and never sent to us. Prayer reminders and alarms are scheduled on the device.

Calendar (optional, off unless you turn it on). If you ask Sabrfy to add prayer times to your calendar, it creates those events on your device and keeps them up to date. It changes only the events it added, never reads your other events, and sends nothing to us. With Private titleson, events carry only a plain word you choose (“Break” by default) — no prayer names, notes, places or links — so anyone who shares your calendar sees nothing more. “Remove all Sabrfy events” deletes exactly the events Sabrfy added.

LMKdev ID is optional. If you choose to sign in, we store your email and your Sabrfy settings (calculation method, madhab, which alerts are on) so they follow you to a new phone. Sign out, or ask us at privacy@lmkdev.com, and it is deleted.

Tips in the app go through Apple. We never see your card; Apple tells us a tip happened and nothing else.

Feedbackyou send from the app (Settings, or by shaking your phone) needs an LMKdev ID. It carries your note, your LMKdev ID user id, the app version, device model, iOS version, language setting and a random id for this install — plus a screenshot only if you keep the one shown before sending, and your email only if you turn on “You can reply to me.” It is used to answer and fix things, never for ads or tracking. Photos are used only to understand your feedback and are deleted once we’ve processed it. Nothing is sent until you press Send. Notes on a guide step (⚠) still open an email with your note, the app version and your device model.

Donations

If you donate, the payment processor handles your card details — we never see them. We receive your name and the amount, and nothing else.

We do not sell or share your information

We do not sell your personal information, do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not use it for targeted ads. We share it only with the service providers that run Sabrfy for us (Vercel for website hosting and cookieless page counts; Supabase for LMKdev ID accounts and synced settings; Apple for app delivery and tips — all in the United States), with authorities when the law requires it, or with a successor if Sabrfy changes hands.

Your privacy choices

There is nothing to opt out of. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it as an opt-out of sale and sharing anyway (see /.well-known/gpc.json). The website sets no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the CCPA/CPRA and the GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. How:

• Delete: in the app, delete your LMKdev ID from Settings, or sign out; or email us.
• Access, correct or port: email privacy@lmkdev.com and we will send or fix what we hold (at most your email and Sabrfy settings, plus any feedback you sent).
• Opt out: nothing is sold or shared; GPC is honored automatically.

We verify a request by replying to the email address on the account and respond within one month (EU/UK) or 45 days (US states), and tell you if we need longer. You may use an authorized agent. If you are in the EU or UK you can also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

How long we keep it

Your LMKdev ID email and synced settings are kept while your account exists and deleted when you delete it. Feedback is kept as long as needed to answer and fix the issue; photos are deleted once processed. Hosting logs are kept briefly by our provider for security.

Children

Sabrfy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

International users

We operate in the United States, and any information we hold is processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those where you live.

Changes

If this policy changes we update the dates at the top. We review it at least once a year.
